The musician was part of the group between 1977 and 1979 and participated in two studio albums of the classic Heavy Metal era: Macchie AND Machine to killBoth released in 1978. Binks is also remembered for his performance on the album live Unleashed in the East (1979).
The drummer left the band in 1979 after a disagreement with the then entrepreneur of the group. After his departure, Dave Holland took over until 1989. Since then, Scott Travis has dealt with the place.
The last public appearance of Les Binks with former bandmates took place in 2022, when they were included in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
