Produced by Josyara in partnership with Rafael Ramosthe album has arrangements signed by the artist, who also participates in the recordings as a guitarist, singer and lyricist.
“Avia It means letting run, advance, conclude. The choice of this name suggests exactly that: to move on, make it happen, ”explains Josyara in a statement.
Right in the opening track, Josyara presents a new version of “I like it like that”from Anelis Assumpção. Then in “Sap”partnership with Iara Rennóthe artist sings about pleasure, freedom and desire. The song “Festa Nothing to See” It addresses the frustration of a loving farewell to lyricism and delicate melody.
The album also pays tribute to the composer Cátia de Francewith a rereading of the track “Bagged”from the classic album 20 Words around the sun (1979), in duet with Pitty.
“This song lights an inspiration in me, a place of
resilience, to be able to abandon what is needed to be able to
resist. By the force of the lyrics, I thought it combined a lot with the
Voice, the timbre, the interpretation and even with the work of Pitty.
It was very special to sing together, ”he says.
Other highlights include “Runnings”which won music video directed by Juh Almeidaand “About us”joint composition with Pitty. Rhythmic pulsation gains strength in “Samba in Samba”with quotes to Paulo Moura and remarkable presence of the percussive guitar of Josyara.
Samba reappears in “Proof of love”“Ticket” in partnership with Juliana Linhares. Already “Heart Fish”created with Linikerbrings a more subjective tone. The closing comes with “Oasis (the dune and the wind)”duet with Chico Chicoin an intimate climate.
“I wish the joy I felt when making this album reach people. Avia It is an album composed of very human themes – love, longing, farewells, encounters – and I believe a lot of people will identify themselves, ”he says.
Recorded in the studios Drum (RJ) and Studio T (BA), the album is released by the label Deck.
