After risk of type 2 diabetes, musician adopts healthier lifestyle and says he left behind addictions and excesses of the past
Pete doherty shared a new update about his health and revealed that he is living a new lifestyle after serious complications caused by type 2 diabetes. The musician, known for his work with The Libertines and BabyshamblesHe said that he is now more sober and far from the addictions that marked much of his career.
The revelation came during an interview with the podcast Happy Placefrom Fearne Cottonwhere he spoke openly about the recent challenges and the changes he had to make to take care of his body and mind. “Something has changed inside me,” he said. “I no longer feel that constant need. I allow myself to drink only once in a while, like every 10 days.”
