Music Open Air: I Prevail Cancels Show and Kamelot will perform two performances

Metal band cited personal questions and lamented impossibility to participate in the event, which takes place between May 2, 3 and 4 in São Paulo

The United States Rock Band I Prevail announced that it will not participate in the Bangers Open Air 2025. The third edition of the Metal Festival is scheduled for May 2, 3 and 4, at the Latin America Memorial in São Paulo.

The statement was released by the group on Wednesday, 23, in a publication on social networks. “We are devastated to share that we will not be able to present ourselves in the Bangers Open Air next month. The festival has been incredibly receptive and did everything to help us, ”the text began.

In March, the bands KNOCKED LOOSE and We Came the Romans canceled their participation and were replaced by the German Blind Guardian and Destruction. At the time, the festival stated that the cancellation was a “unilateral decision” and that the groups had already received the payment for the show.
