The singer of Seranejo Mateus, from the duo with Jorge, suffered an emergency surgery on Thursday 24. The official profile of the duo confirmed the information through a note.

The presentations, however, were confirmed with the presence of Jorge. The duo staff reported that the shows will be maintained “respect for the public”.

The notice, however, did not provide details on the procedure or on the place where the surgery will be performed in “respect for the artist’s privacy”.

The shows are part of the “Jorge and Mateus 20 years” tour, which marks a celebration in the duo’s career. With the updated repertoire, the performances include new songs from the album “Check-in”, as well as other successes of the country duo.
