The coverage of the long -awaited show Lady Gaga in Rio de Janeiro underwent changes in the schedule after a formal request from the singer’s team, according to information published by Folha de São Paulo. According to the newspaper, the broadcast will not be exactly live, will have a delay of about 8 to 10 minutes.
This type of adjustment is common in large live events and usually aims to prevent possible technical or performance failures from being transmitted to the public. The requested interval allows production to quickly edit some troubled stretch – such as a song with technical error or below -expected performance – before the content will air, and allow the reproduction of commercial intervals throughout the transmission.
