‘Wings: The Story of A Band On The Run’ features unpublished interviews, personal collection images and stories told by figures like Ringo, Linda, Lennon and even Dustin Hoffman
Paul McCartney has just revealed the cover and an excerpt from the introduction of his new book, Wings: The Story of a Band On The Runwhich arrives on bookstores on November 4th. The work revisits the band’s trajectory Wingsformed by him after the end of the Beatlesthrough an oral narrative built from recent interviews and file materials never released before.
The book brings together more than 42 hours of interviews, including unpublished records of the personal collection of McCartneybesides conversations with names close to the band. The publication also brings about 150 photos – many never seen – clicked by Linda McCartney, Mike McCartney, Clive Arrowsmith, Henry Diltz, Robert Ellis and by Paul.
