Cultivated Roqueiro Group held three presentations in national territory before continuing with their tour of South America and Mexico
THE Scorpions He canceled his second sequence presentation of the current South American tour. The situation is just a few days after the German band has passed through Brazil, where he played in Brasilia (Arena of Rock, 16/04), São Paulo (Monsters of Rock, 19/04) and Rio de Janeiro (solo show at Quilistage, 21/04).
First, the group stopped on the stage of the Masters of Rock festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina, last Saturday, 26. Then he suspended the show he would perform at the Monsters of Rock Colombian edition in Bogota, on Wednesday, 30. The events normally took place with the other attractions, as Judas Priest and Europeamong others.
On both occasions, the reason was the same: the health of Klaus Meine. The 76-year-old hired a virus that caused respiratory infection, preventing him from presenting himself.

Initially, by canceling the show in Argentina, the German band stated through social networks:
“It is with great regret that Scorpions will not be able to perform in Buenos Aires tonight. Klaus has contracted a virus, is suspected of laryngitis and, unfortunately, will not be able to sing. The band asks for huge excuses to all their dear fans in Argentina and is extremely disappointed that they will do all efforts to return to Argentina in the future.”

Through the same form of communication (via Igor Miranda website), the group published the following about the commitment in Colombia:
“It is with great regret that Scorpions will not be able to perform in Bogota tonight. Klaus has not yet recovered from the virus and respiratory infection that led to the recent cancellation of the Scorpions show in Buenos Aires and, unfortunately, remains unable to sing. The band makes a huge apology to all their loyal fans in Colombia and is extremely disappointed by not being able to play once again In one of their favorite countries. They will make every effort to return to Colombia in the future. ”

Scorpions in tour
Among the shows in Brazil and the canceled commitments, Scorpions even played at Masters of Rock in Santiago, Chile, April 24. The next dates of Scorpions in Latin America remain scheduled so far: the group plays in Ecuador (May 3) and Mexico (May 6 and 8).
In addition to Klaus Meine, Scorpions has Rudolf Schenker (guitar), Matthias Jabs (guitar), Pawel MacIwoda (low) and Mikkey Dee (battery). Currently, the group enacted with its 60 -year commemorative tour.
