Vanessa da Mata announces authorial album with participation by Robert Glasper and João Gomes
Vanessa da Mata will release on May 12th its 11th studio album, entitled All. With 12 copyright and participation of Robert Glasper and João Gomesthe project reveals different faces of the artist Mato Grosso through an unprecedented repertoire, which moves between genres such as reggae, soul and pine.
“This album could tell the story of several women. There are several women inside him who make up my person, my facets, my moments, the moments of great and good illusions and some disappointments,” the artist told the artist to Rolling Stone Brazil.

Produced by Vanessa herself, All was recorded and mixed in the studio VISOM DIGITALin Rio de Janeiro, with arrangements collectively developed by the singer’s band. The team of musicians includes MARCELO COSTA (battery), Maurício Pacheco (guitar and guitar) and Rafael Rocha (trombone), among others.
The album features unpublished collaborations. After the partnership in the previous album Come sweet (2023), Vanessa resumes the artistic dialogue with João Gomes in a new track composed by her. Another highlight is the presence of the American pianist Robert Glaspernamed in jazz and contemporary soul.
The singer also joins the composer Jota.pê In one of the songs, a reggae that further expands the album’s sound diversity.
The project’s first single, “Hope”, was released on April 11.
