Show was divided into five acts and featured classic tracks alongside unpublished songs from the album Mayhem
The Show of Lady Gaga in Copacabana Beachthis Saturday (3), entered history as one of the largest ever held in Brazil. According to official data from Rioturabout 2.1 million people accompanied the free presentation of the American artist, surpassing the public from Madonnawhich gathered 1.6 million people in the same place in 2024.
With the album tour MayhemGaga returned to the country after more than 10 years and was received by a crowd formed since the early hours of the day. The weather helped: Clean sky, heat during the day and firm time at night collaborated for the success of the event.
Grande structure and setlist divided into acts
Divided into five acts, the show was presented as a “Gothic Opera” and featured a theatrical scene, burning fireworks and costumes. The show started with the singer appearing on stage to the sound of “Bloody Mary”dressed in red. Then he amended with “Abracadabra”.

In the setlist, Gaga included classic tracks like “Poker face”, “Alejandro”, “Born this way”, “Bad Romance” and the ballad “Shallow”besides songs from the new album as “Abracadabra”, “How Bad Do U Want Me” and “Vanish Into You”.

Speech and tribute to Brazil
One of the most striking moments of the night was Lady Gaga’s speech with the help of a translator:
“I love you. Thank you for waiting. Thank you for getting me back so kindly and with open arms. Tonight, I want to help them shine. I want the world to see how big your heart is and to get inspired by your spirit,” said the singer, thrilled.
“I loved you ten years ago. And I love you tonight. Thank you, Brazil. I love you forever!”
The speech also referred to the cancellation of the Rock in Rio 2017 show, when Gaga could not perform due to the pain caused by fibromyalgia. This Saturday’s presentation marked its first performance in Brazil since 2012.
