Music Arnold, singer of 3 Doors Down, reveals diagnosis of cancer in stage 4

Artist posted a video on his social networks and reported the band’s tour cancellation, as well as asking for fans’ prayers

Brad Arnoldvocalist of 3 Doors Downrevealed that it was diagnosed with light cell carcinoma in stage four – a type of kidney cancer.

Arnold released the news in post on his Instagram last Wednesday, 7. The artist said:

“I hope you are having a great day today. I have not so good news to share”the musician began, explaining that he was sick a few weeks ago and decided to consult with the hospital. It was then that it received the diagnosis of light cell carcinoma in the kidney, in the four internship, already with metastasis in the lung.

“But do you know one thing? We serve a powerful God, and he can overcome anything. So I’m not afraid.”continued. “Really, honestly, I’m not at all scared.” The singer also said the band will need to cancel the tour and asked fans that “Pray for me whenever they can”besides encouraging them to hear “It’s not My Time”3 Doors Down music released in 2008.

In the caption that accompanied the video, Brad wrote that he believes that the song “It’s really my music”and added: “This will be a battle, so we need our prayer warriors!”

Brad Arnold founded the 3 Doors Down in 1996 in the city of Escatawpa, Mississippi, next to the guitarist Matt Roberts (deceased in August 2016) and the bassist Todd Harrell. Four years later, the band reached third place on the American parade with the music “Kryptonite”the first of several hits on the charts, as “Be Like That”, “Here Without You” and “When I’m Gone”.

After the multiplastinated success of the album Away from the Sun (2002), the group reached the top of the American parade with the records Seventeen Days (2005) and 3 Doors Down (2008).
