Banda has promoted changes in the repertoire in the midst of their tour across the country; Presentations in Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro have already happened
THE system of a Down It is in the midst of its tour in Brazil. The performances end a visit to South America after the Armenian American band had passed through Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina.
In our country, SERJ TANKIAN (vocal, keyboard), Daron Malakian (guitar, vocal), Shavo Odadjian (low) and John Dolmayan (drums) performed at Couto Pereira Stadium in Curitiba and Nilton Santos Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, respectively on Tuesday, 6, and Thursday, 8. Then they go to Sao Paulo, where they play at Allianz Parque, Saturday, 10, and Sunday, 11, and at the Interlagos Race Track, Wednesday, 14.
The performances in the capitals of Paraná and Fluminense had notorious differences in repertoire – something that the members themselves said they would do. Almost ten songs were changed in total. In Sao Paulo, they are expected even more “scrambled” amid the short but impactful musical catalog of the group.
Among the 32 songs performed in Curitiba, nine were present only there, without repetition in Rio de Janeiro. They were:
