The singer’s sixth studio album is expected to hit audio platforms later this year
Carly Rae Jepsen is back! The singer announced on Tuesday afternoon, 02, the release of her sixth studio album, The Loneliest Time. The project is slated to arrive on all audio platforms on October 21.
After two years without releases, the Canadian released “Westerd Wind” in an exclusive live performance for the latest edition of Coachella, the largest music festival in the United States.
In The Loneliest Timehis most introspective work to date, the album expands on the emotionally powerful songwriting and euphoric, poetic sound that Jepsen already presented in previous works.
Jepsen had the collaboration of Tavish Crowe, Rostam Batmanglij (who produced and co-wrote the single “Western Wind”) bullionproduction trio Captain Cuts, John Hill, Kyle Shearer and Alex Hope.

The singer’s last musical project was the B-side of Dedicated (2020), with emphasis on the tracks “Party For One”, “No Drug For Me” and “Too Much”which preceded the launch in 2019. Jepsen will present the album on tour The So Nicescheduled to start on September 24 in Canada and will feature Empress Of as an opening band.
