Vocalist at Interpol Reinterpret “Gimme Danger” and “Sister Midnight” for Indie movie trail inspired by Iggy Pop’s poetic cross
Paul Banksfrontman of Interpolgives voice to two emblematic tracks of Iggy Pop in unpublished versions that pack the movie Midnight Sisterpremiere of the director Karan Kandhari. The chosen songs – “Gimme Danger”classic of Stoogesand “Sister Midnight”partnership of Iggy with David Bowie – They make a new life in the hands of Bankswhich also signs the original soundtrack of the feature.
“‘Gimme Danger’ It has always been one of my favorites. Already ‘Sister Midnight’ I knew less, but his gross and instinctive energy took me straight to the center of the film’s proposal, ”he said Bankswho sought a personal and dark tone in the interpretations.
