British band’s fourth album arrives in August with production by Greg Kurstin; First single, ‘Bloom Baby Bloom’, has already gained official music video
The British band Wolf Alice It’s back. The group announced on Wednesday (15) the release of their fourth studio album, The clearingscheduled for August 29 by RCA. The first sample of the new work is the single “Bloom Baby Bloom”which has already arrived with an official music video directed by Colin Solal Cardo and choreographed by Ryan Heffintgon. The album was written in the neighborhood of Seven Sisters, in northern London, and recorded in Los Angeles under the command of the renowned producer GREG KURSTIN – Known for works with names such as Foo Fighters, Adele and Beck.
In a statement, the vocalist Ellie Rowsell explained that the new track seeks to explore the power of vocal performance in rock: “I wanted a rock song where I could sing like the Axl Rosebut about being a woman, ”he said.
I’ve used the guitar as a shield, perhaps as a way to reject the ‘band singer girl’ stereotype. But now I wanted to focus on the voice as a rock instrument, and it has been liberating to put the guitar aside and feel that I don’t have to prove that I’m a musician. ”
The clearingmark the return of Wolf Alice after Blue Weekend (2021), a album that consolidated the band as one of the most inventive names of British alternative rock of the last decade. British band’s fourth album arrives on August 29th and already has pre-save.
