Band performs in the Asian country in October 2025 and requested a series of specific concessions due to the various rules imposed
You Foo Fighters will resume the concert schedule in the second half of 2025, after a period of break caused by revelations about the extramarital affair of Dave Grohl. The band announced three performances scheduled for October, one of them in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The show takes place on the 2nd, and the band received a series of special concessions, as reported by the JAKARTA GLOBE (via South China Morning Post and I have more records than friends). The group had to ask for some openings, such as drinking, smoking and cursing during the show. Although these actions are not prohibited, access to alcohol, for example, is not so easy outside tourism.

JUNARDY RAVELCEO of the producer responsible for the Foo Fighters show, commented:
“They asked the freedom to curse on stage, as well as the permission to smoke and drink during the show. As long as they do not touch sensitive topics such as race, religion, or Indonesian cultural values, we will allow it.”
Resignation of Josh Freese
The return of the Foo Fighters on the stage, scheduled for October 4, will not have Josh Freese. The drummer revealed that he was fired from the band without major explanations.
The information was shared by his own social networks. In the text, Freese states that no explanation was given to decision making.
Josh, who entered 2023 as a tours drummer, regretted the situation because he had never been fired before. He also pointed out that he continues with his performance as a freelance musician.
