Group launched a page after a series of shows, with vocalist promising “Rock and Roll in their most explicit form, with full access”
After the success of the viral tour of All American Rejectsthe vocalist Tyson Ritter decided to deepen even more in creating personal connections with his audience by creating a profile on the network Onlyfans.
Ritter revealed and commented on the decision in a new interview with GQsaying that the “excitement” generated by the DIY shows (do it yourself) encouraged the band to look for other ways to be disruptive.
“We were always a sarcastic band when it comes to our music. So why not, you know, show a p#
The All American Rejects page on Onlyfans is already on the air and is completely free to sign up. At the moment, there is no picture of “P#NTO leaving the zipper”, although Ritter is clearly displaying a little “male scrub” in the provocative cover image (taken from the photo shoot to GQ).
The first mission of the new profile on Onlyfans seems to be expecting the next single of the All American Reducts, appropriately entitled “Easy Cum Easy Go”with launch scheduled for this Friday, 6.
As for what the band can do with the following profile, Ritter was vacant in the interview, saying that the fans “They can expect rock and roll in their most explicit form, with full access”. When asked what that meant exactly, he replied: “I will leave the ambiguity of this phrase if I define itself”.
Still, Ritter showed enthusiasm with the idea of a platform that offers “An experience where the artist defines the price, and is something straight from the artist to the fans. There are no intermediaries, there are no signature costs, unless the artist chooses it. This seems something positive”. He added:
“I hope platforms like Onlyfans encourage young bands to say, ‘Hey, we’re here. We want to be able to do shows. If you enjoy our music, give it a dollar. And if a thousand people do it, it’s a thousand dollars. Maybe we can rent a space for one night and do a show’. emerge. This stop will be discovered, and will want to be supported. ”
About The All American Rejects
Better known for the sequence of hits in alternative rock of the 2000s, All American Rejects have not released a new album since 2012 (their latest official release was an EP in 2019). This year, however, they made a noisy return with a free and free show for student radio at the University of Southern California, which ended up triggering a short but intense, series of DIY performances in homes across the country.
After the end of the tour last month, Tyson Ritter told the Rolling Stone:
“These were the best shows we have ever done in life. What we realized in this tour is that when we are at the same level as people’s eyes and we see young people up to each other, it shows that the carnal community connection of the last seven years was totally fragmented and distant, for all the reasons for the postcovid world. We seem to create something that really resonated with people collectively.”
The All American Rejects have finished a new album, scheduled for release later this year, although no official detail has been released so far. Probably the best way to keep up to date is to follow the band’s Onlyfans.
