Owner of the hit “Espresso” is burst, with crowded schedule and songs at the top of the charts, but interpreter of “Flowers” sees something beyond
Sabrina Carpenter Lives the best moment of your career. Your sixth and latest studio album, Short n ‘Sweet (2024), is the best selling of his career. The first three singles of this album – “Espresso”, “Please please please and “Taste” – They occupied the top 3 of the American charts. After opening several shows Taylor Swiftthe artist held her first series of performances in large arenas. Still competed for six awards in the latest edition of Grammy, winning two: best vocal pop album and best solo pop performance and recording of the year (by “Espresso”).
Still, the situation of the 26 -year -old inspires concern for Miley Cyrus. Both had similar artistic trajectory: they emerged as Disney Channel production stars, began musical career with a “teenage” pop and, at the beginning of adulthood, not only explored sensuality in their work, but also joined an intense schedule of shows and other commitments.
Although it is just a little older than Sabrina, Miley, today at 32, has vast experience when talking about showbusiness. Therefore, it admits: is worried about the younger artist. The reason? The aforementioned crowded agenda, entitled to about 80 shows in 2023 and 60 last year – on average, one or two performances per week, along with media trips and demands.

In an interview with New York TimesCyrus has assured that he can see when someone is “working too much” – and, in his opinion, is the case of Carpenter. The two have already met around, but there was never the opportunity for Miley to express apprehension with her colleague.
“Every time I see her, I feel like asking if she’s okay.”
A specific situation caught the attention of former Hannah Montana. She said she watched Carpenter’s presentation in Ireland and was surprised to find that the next day she would show in the United States, more specifically in Kansas. To the New York Times, reflected:
“I don’t know how this can be physically acceptable. I know how it is to run out and I don’t want anyone to go through it.”
The concern is only due to the pace of Carpenter’s activities, as Cyrus guarantees to be a fan of the artist and other “novices”, as he described herself.
“I think they are all unique and very found. That’s what I like to see.”

Miley Cyrus no longer makes tours
Anterior wear is one of the reasons why Miley Cyrus No more tours. His last complete show took place in 2022, the year he decided to participate in some isolated festivals – such as the Brazilian edition of Lollapalooza.
Since then, she has released two albums – Endless Summer Vacation (2023) and Something Beautiful (2025) – and became involved in other initiatives, such as rewriting a song from the Talking Heads (“Psycho Killer”) For a tribute and collaborate with Beyoncé in “II Most Wanted”range of Cowboy Carter (2024). And no tour.
The longest excursion, it is said, happened over a decade ago. THE Bangerz Tourheld throughout 2014, had 78 presentations in a period of eight months. Other shows happened after that – like the aforementioned visit to Brazil – but on time, never under a traditional agenda of great artist.
In an interview with Zane Lowe (via Consequence), Cyrus revealed that everything should continue this way. There are no plans for tours. And its three reasons are: Protect your vocal cords, sting and prioritize the financial health of your career. Initially, she explains:
“The physicality of what I do, athletics, the chemicals produced on your body when you are at this level cause a lot of stress. Working from the inside out, I have certain protocols that keep me sober. This is superimportant to me. So, part of it is to remain mentally, physical, spiritually and emotionally well – and I want to emphasize the ‘physically’ because of how exhausting is a live physical presentation.
Concern with your work instrument, the voice, occurs due to a diagnosis of Reinke’s edemaa swelling caused by the presence of liquid in the so -called Reinke space, located in the larynx. As a result, vocal folds acquire a gelatinous feature. This condition, even, was responsible for making Miley sing more serious – and, in her words, was originated by “Abuse of vocal cords” and “Stay awake, drinking, smoking and celebrating after each show”.
“My voice always sounded like this. It’s part of my unique anatomy. [Um grande pólipo nas cordas vocais] It gave me a lot of the timbre and texture that made me who I am, but it’s extremely difficult to show, because it’s like running a marathon with weights in the ankles. Even when I’m talking sometimes at the end of the day, I call my mother and she says, ‘Oh, you seem to be talking about a radio.’ This is how you know that I am really tired, because it creates that definitive sound of vocal ‘frying’. ”

Longer, the last of the three reasons – financial challenges – was approached by Miley Cyrus as a kind of consequence. If the artist cannot perform so many shows in series, it is quite expensive to tour.
“The tour is not free. So if I can’t do a certain amount of shows, it mathematically makes no sense to promote it the way I need it.”
The Americana ensures that other colleagues suffer from the same problem. According to her, “Many artists do not make tours as much as they would like or used to do”.
