Vocalists by Mötley Crüe and Guns N ‘Roses bruised in the late 1980s and almost gave rise to boxing struggles involving celebrities
At the height of Glam Metal in Los Angelesin the 1980s, Mötley Crüe and Guns n ‘Roses They were considered litter bands and even came out together. However, the friendly mood gave way to animosity when vocalists Vince Neiland Axl Rose They got involved in a bullshit.

In the following months, the two exchanged insults for the press. Until, about a year later, Vince Neil “launched Braga” during an interview with MTV (via Far Out) and called Axl Rose to go out.
He said:
“Axl Rose said a lot of bad things about me in recent years and has done a lot of threats. He said, ‘Well, anytime, anywhere.’ And now, I want to end it. What I want, axl, is, if you are watching it, challenge you for a fight. I’ll give you a time and give you the place. There is no way to go back now, friend.
Mötley Crüe’s singer not only wanted to fight. Its idea was that the struggle would be broadcast – anticipating in a few decades the current format in which celebrities duel in the ring.
Vince suggested to MTV:
“I would like to do this in an arena where people could come and watch. I would like it to be televised. I want the whole world to see this fight. I think it will be great. I’m very excited because I need to end it. This will end once and for all with the resentment between us. So let’s go axl!”
For good or evil, the clash between Vince Neil and Axl Rose never happened. Neil’s wedding with Sharise Ruddell came to an end in 1993, the same year Guns N ‘Roses classic – already without Izzy Stradlin, had been held since 1991 – held his latest shows.
