In the 1960s, Beach Boys It was one of the definite bands of the sound of the decade.
The album PET SOUTHS (1966), changed popular music and is still considered a rock masterpiece. Among the indispensable songs in the “DNA Musical” of Brian Wilson, founder of the band, are classics of Beatles and Bob Dylan.
In playlist created for Rolling Stone USAin 2015, Wilson He selected eight songs he considers indispensable. The first song I heard, still in childhood, was “Rhapsody in Blue” George Gershwin. “I listened and said, ‘Mom, Mom, play again!’ I loved the part of the violins’ entrance, ”he recalled.
