After three years away from the stage, Trent Reznor and Banda return with 20 songs, impactful visuals and live partnerships
After three years of hiatus, the NINE INH NAILS He made his awaited return to the stage this Sunday (15) in Dublin, Ireland. The show marked the kick of the tour Peel it back world tourwith a great show divided into four acts and a setlist of 20 songs that traveled the entire trajectory of the band.
Trent Reznor And company alternated performances between the main stage and a secondary stage mounted in the middle of the audience, creating an immersive experience intensified by meticulous scenography and impressive light games.
The opening was dedicated to rare bands, as “Right Where It Belongs”, “Ruiner” and “Piggy (Nothing Can Stop Me Now)”none of them had been played live since 2009. Following, the group rocked the audience with favorite fans, including “March of the Pigs”, “The Frail”, “Copy of a” and “Gave Up”.
In the third act, the show gained even more strength with the entry of Boys Noizeartist responsible for opening the tour, who joined the Nin In three live collaborations: “Vessel”, “Parasite” (from the project How to Destroy Angels) and “Came Back Haunted”.
The Grand Finale was a parade of classics. Hits like “Closer”, “The Hand That Feeds”, “Head Like a Hole” and “Hurt” were cheered, along with a powerful rereading of “I’m Afraid of Americans”partnership of David Bowie with Reznor in the 1990s.
