Tickets will have an additional “processing commission”
The collection of a new tax surprised those who tried to buy tickets for the My chemical love story in Brazil, through the Eventim. On social networks, users have expressed a revolt with the “processing tax”, which will generate an additional cost in all types of presentation tickets.
On the official website, Eventim explained the Commission: “The processing commission is charged to cover the essential costs for the operation and maintenance of the electronic payment system, such as the transaction processing costs (authorization and payment operation), the security of customer information (financial data protection), the transfer of funds to the promoter of events and other related services.”
The company has also stated that the Commission “will be charged on the basis of the amount and elements of the order carried out” and is also related to the methods chosen for the payment of the order: “It will be applicable to depend on the electronic payment chosen when a customer makes the purchase or payment, for example credit cards, debt and pix, the payment site, the volume, the payment processors involved in the transaction, among other factors.”
Wanted by EstadãoEventim did not comment on the new rate. The space is still open.
Through social networks, the Netizen did not agree with the new accusation. “R $ 250 in commissions! Absurd”, wrote one. “This news is very discouraged those who go to the shows,” said another.
