Music 4 songs from Black Sabbath played by Guns N ‘Roses in’ Back to the Beginning ‘

Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan band performed six songs in all, more than half of the band honored in the English megafestival

The farewell of Black Sabbath and from Ozzy Osbourne soil, Back to the beginninggathered a series of special guests. One of the biggest names involved, the Guns n ‘Rosesdecided to play not only one, but four Sabbath songs.

Virtually all groups that perform participations – as Tool, Slayer, Alice in Chains And more – have only executed one track. THE Panther broke the protocol by including two.

Already Axl Rose, Slash, DUFF MCKAGAN and company, according to the setlist.fm, presented, in order: “It’s Alright” (Excerpt), “Never Say Die”, “Junior’s Eyes” and “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath”. Then they amended with their own “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Paradise City”.

“Sabbath Bloody Sabbath” was thought to be present because the track released in 1973 on the album of the same name had been heard in a recent sound spell. “It’s Alright”, in turn, also looked like an obvious choice, as it was performed by the band in the early 1990s. A live version came to the album Live was ’87 -’93 (1999).

Guns choices for the setlist also draw attention because they privilege two of Black Sabbath’s most criticized albums. “Never Say Die”, “Junior’s Eyes” come from the disk Never Say Die! (1978), the latter with classical formation and conceived in the midst of internal conflicts and problems aggravated with chemical dependence. “It’s Alright” It is in the predecessor Technical Ecstasy (1976), another work considered little inspired.
