THE Festival Como (Consciousness, music and art), one of the most relevant in Brazil, returns to the capital of the country in August. With a scheduled program of shows, DJs, musical projects, talks and other experiences, the event will bring together more than 30 artists during the week of presentations between 16 and 24 at CCBB Brasília (Banco do Brasil Cultural Center). Among the names already confirmed are Secrets Secrets & Sandra Sá, Paulinho da Viola, Zombie nation, Meta meta and Yago Poprrio.

The curatorship of the event invites the public to feel the gender diversity and musical rhythms. This set the tone on this year’s line-up, which goes through soul, funk, boombap, samba, brasilidades and more.

In addition to the musical programming, the festival promotes the Family comawith shows and activities for children, with free admission between August 16 and 17, at CCBB Brasilia. The full schedule of this first weekend will be communicated soon.

Festival Coma 2025

THE Festival Como It is a celebration of music, culture and creativity that unites people, cultures and ideas in an inspiring communion. Born in Brasilia in 2017, the event has already received names like Elza Soares, Maria Gadu, Ney Matogrosso, Gaby Amarantos, Gal Costaamong other exponents of music.

For the 7th edition, the Coma It stands out for its musical diversity and provoking reflections on the relationship between culture and the entertainment market. Besides the shows, which attract large audiences, the CONFERENCE It promotes a great exchange of knowledge between artists and projection bands, as well as experienced professionals in the music market.

In addition, the festival gains an important partnership in 2025: the Convergencesfree multicultural event that celebrates the 200 years of diplomatic relations between Brazil and France. The musical highlight is the artist Angelique Kidjosinger, songwriter, dancer, actress and director, who already has 10 albums released and one Latin Grammyin a presentation scheduled for August 21st. Other artists like Alumin, Ronisia and Sonse They are also part of the event’s musical programming.

THE Convergence Festival It is a realization of the French Institute, the Afrolatine Institute and the Mawê (producer of Coma), and will be responsible for officially opening the schedule of seasons France-Brazil, with an intense agenda between 18 and 21 August. The event will include international forum, lectures, artistic performances and a ceremony with French and Brazilian authorities, in the Esplanade of Ministries.

Another important point is the partnership, existing since 2022, with the Embassy of France. In collaboration with the Rio Loco Festivalfrom Toulouse, the program, co -cultivated between Brazilian and French artists, provides for presentations of this cast in both countries.
