“Dance” and “Repair” open the paths to the duo’s first album, inspired by the night radios and stuffed with powerful collaborations
After a decade packing clues and shaping the fusion between Brazilian funk and electronic music, Deekapz It opens a new chapter in its trajectory. The duo formed by Paulo Vitor and Matheus Henrique He released his first double single, which anticipates the long -awaited debut album scheduled for August. The album – still unnamed revealed – is inspired by the 90s and 2000s night radio, with its eclectic programming, vignettes and atmospheres that alternate between the dancing and the contemplative. “It’s as if each track was a season. The album radio changes vibe, but always tells a piece of our story,” explains the duo.
The idea is already materialized in the two debut tracks. “Dance” It is pure heat, with powerful vocals of Fat Family On a base that refers to R&B and nineteen soul. “It was a dream come true. We grew up listening Fat Family at home parties and the car with the family. Having this reference with us is very symbolic, ”says Paul.
