Production signed by Janluska and Gabriel Duarte Mendes, the singer’s new project combines narrative concept with Urban Pop sound and R&B
Creating a concept album starting, half and end, almost as if it were a screenplay for the film, is not an easy task, but Ana Gabriela has not moved the challenge. In your new job Based on real facts (less the parts I invented)which will be released the day July 17thThe singer proposes an engaging experience of musical and emotional.
The narrative, built around the trajectory of a relationship, gains form with the technical and creative support of two names of weight of contemporary music production: Janluska AND Gabriel Duarte Mendes.
“They have always respected the references and what I wanted to present with this album. They are extraordinary people at work”, account Ana Gabriela. “I see myself a lot in creating experiences with letters and they certainly do it in productions”.
Ana Gabriela: The conception of the new album
The album also marks a special moment in the partnership of Ana Gabriela with Nairosinger and songwriter dividing the single with her Is this our end?. The collaboration between the two, which began in the composition of ReconciliationAlso present on the album, it has evolved into a duet that, according to Ana, could not exist otherwise: “This song exudes such a strong duet … they are two people who talk about opposite things about a disagreement. It wouldn’t really be the same with a person who sings.”
The construction of the album as a project with a cohesive and emotional narrative also required an unprecedented technical and artistic dive in the singer’s career: “The difficulty was to connect everything exactly like a film, to understand why everything happens, reasons, moments … I had never done anything like this in my life, and it was certainly a great challenge.”
With an aesthetic Urban pop and strong influence of R&BThe album is integrated by the viewers recorded in the Patagoniastrengthening the film character of the project. And the experience extends on stage since August, with the tour Based on (almost) reaiswho will guide this story sung to seven Brazilian capital.
