Music Circuit announces new edition with free shows; dates, cities, line-up and more

Independent initiative to encourage the “van culture” and the coexistence between artists on joint travel, the project Circuit – New Music, New Paths will win a new edition: the Circuit #02which takes place from July 31 to August 3. Also, now all programming events will be free. The artists cast for line-up are Dora Morelenbaum, IORIGUN and Vera Fischer was Clubber.

THE Circuit #02 It will promote the itinerancy of artists from the new Brazilian scene from São Paulo (31/7, at Bar Alto), make their first stop in São José dos Campos (1/8, at Hocus Pocus, debut in the city), returns to Americana (2/8, at Espaço GNU), and the closure takes place in Campinas (3/8, at the Mangueira Collective).

Dora Morelenbaum

Dora Morelenbaum is back on the road taking to the public its solo project, after winning a Latin Grammy by the album Yes yes yes yes (2022), with the Bullet Desireand the acclaimed band hiatus. This new chapter of your career, deeper and more complex, is based on the album Pickerwhich brings musical facets of MPB, Soul, R&B and Jazz, revealing the singer’s artistic identity. Co -produced by Doer with Ana Electric Chickenthe album is defined in a range of rhythms and genres.

IORIGUN

Of Feira de Santana, the Bahian friends Iuri (vocals and guitar), Leonel (battery) and Moyses (vocal and bass) bring to São Paulo their indie rock sound with quick beats and riffs that reflect their strong energy. In discography, the band has two EPS, Empty.houses/filled.cities and Skinpraised by the specialized critics of Bahia, and in 2024 they launched the singles “Start over”, “The hostage” and “It will not be worth it”which present a new phase of the band.

Vera Fischer was Clubber

Caco/Concha (São Paulo)

Founded by André (guitar) and Felipe Nunes (voice/tambourine), Caco/Shell It mixes the urban energy of São Paulo with the tranquility of the coast. Born of tension between these two environments, the project explores the duality between concrete and searesia, creating a unique musical experience. Its sound is characterized by a mixture of guitars, synthesizers and percussion, balancing the solid and the liquid, the pointed and the curvilinear.

Bucharest (São José dos Campos)

The São José dos Campos band began its activities in 2019 and is working on its latest release, EP Where do our silences go?launched in late 2024. with sound influenced by alternative rock and indie rock, direct and energetic, the Bucharest Deliver songs with emotional appeal and intensity, characteristics that make up the band’s musical aesthetics. THE Bucharest It is formed by Guilherme Oliveira (voice and guitar), Ayrton Oliveira (voice and keyboard), Robson Marques (low) and Ian Pikachu (battery).

From Prado (American)

Musician, singer, composer: Prado It is a complete artist. Alone, impressed by the grandeur of her multifaceted talent. From Americana, interior of São Paulo, is one of the most representative names in the singular scene MPB Paulista. His copyright songs reflect deep feelings, loves and everyday life. The compositions are influenced by Samba, R&B and Bossa Nova. And this mixture is still enchanting listeners who seek more personal and authentic connections in the new Brazilian music. In 2024, Prado presented the public work to the public “The Party”, “Prado and Maues”, “Closed Cage” – which also won a clip, and “Kisses and Posters of Cinemas”. Rest Bra (Campinas)

Torn bra It is a duo of authorial rock formed in late 2024 by Ju Carniça and White Carolinain Campinas, interior of São Paulo. The band mixes Post-Punk influences, Riot Grrrl and Hard Core, creating an authorial and provocative sound. Your first EP, titled Trash girlsIt was launched in May 2025, produced 100% independently, showing strength at the beginning of a prosperous journey.

New song and new ways

The project Circuit – New Music, New Paths It is an independent initiative, produced by Gustavo Sartori Barba and José Guilherme Padovanifrom the producer Vegas Culturalwith the journalist’s strategic and band Lúcio Ribeirofrom the Peload.

It emerged in 2024, from the identification of the challenges faced by the professionals of the new Brazilian music scene. The inspiration for its creation was the concepts of tours that already happen abroad, but still face many impediments to perform in Brazil, from geographical, financial, social, among many others.

In this way, the Circuit – New Music, New Paths It has materialized the “van culture” and the coexistence between artists on joint trips, so common in the US and Europe and that practically does not exist in Brazil. The first edition, Circuit #00happened in January 2025, and the second, Circuit #01in April this year.

Artists interested in participating in itinerance should register at www.circuonovasica.com.br. It is by the platform that the curated of attractions, led by Lúcio Ribeiroknows the new talents that fit the programming and purpose of each edition. In addition, the program includes a local attraction per edition, which aims to provide this exchange of experiences by regional artists with those of other parts of the country, promoting a cultural exchange.
