Musician may appear in the last project of Soundgarden, while fans of Eddie Vedder band suggest reconciliation with former member
Matt Cameron caused a commotion in the rock world last week by announcing its departure from Pearl Jam After 27 years. “I took my last steps on the drums of the powerful Pearl Jam,” he wrote. “I’m forever grateful to the team, the technical team and fans around the world. It’s been an amazing journey. More news soon.”
At this point, no one knows exactly what that means. But the surviving members of the Soundgarden now have the last vocal tracks of Chris Cornell And they have often talked about turning them into the band’s last album.
“Our goal and goal has always been to conclude that,” said the guitarist of Soundgarden, Kim Thayil, Rolling Stone in May. “I probably have enough stone so not to want to leave something unfinished or incomplete like this, so I think the more we dedicate us to our work and our catalog … it would be a great gift for fans. And I think about it, and I don’t know how strange it sounds, but I feel it’s a gift for Chris also.”
THE Soundgarden was initially in the program of the farewell show of the Black SabbathBack to the beginningbut it ended up not performing. “We are super upset and we regret not being able to coordinate the agendas of our individual and collective projects to attend and contribute to the festival,” they wrote in a band statement on Instagram. “The affection, love and support of the Black Sabbath team have been a continuous source of encouragement and strength throughout our career.”
They will have another chance to meet on November 8, when the Soundgarden is introduced in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. “It looks like the invitation exists,” he said Thayil. “It depends on the hall of fame as they develop their schedule, but we would love to play there.”
THE Pearl Jamin turn, did not make any ads on how to continue without Cameron. Some fans fantasized about them reconciling with the era drummerVs./vitalogy , Dave Abbruzseoseafter three decades of removal. In a Facebook post, Abbruzseose He said this scenario remains highly unlikely.
“The fact that I had not had personal contact with any of them leads me to believe that things are very deep and cold so that there is any reconnection or reconciliation,” he wrote. “This is a shame and saddens me deeply. I know I could and would have a lot to contribute if the so -called came to come, but unfortunately I don’t see it happening.”
He then asked fans to stop insisting that he would contact him with the management of the Pearl Jam. “I appreciate and understand your desire to see what can come out of this musically meeting,” he wrote. “I would be lying if I said I’m not curious either.”
If someone was curious to know what it would be like to see Abbruzseose play music Pearl Jam Again, he posted a new Facebook video on the weekend, where he recreated his original battery part “Animal”. He may not be contacting the band directly, but perhaps this is his way of showing that he still has talent, in the extremely unlikely case they can contact him.
