With the records home and digitally restored, the album saves the intimate side of the singer Woody Guthrie 58 years after his death
A lost treasure of the American popular legend is about to win the world Woody at home, vol. 1 and 2an album with domestic records never published before by Woody Guthrie (1912-1967), will be launched on August 14, 2025.
In 1951, Guthrie He received a Reverer T -12 Crescent domestic recorder (a rarity for the time) and recorded 32 ribbons in his home in New Jersey. The records included unpublished songs, alternative versions of classical music and even spoken interludes.
