Even so, Geezer Butler offered an account of the health of the vocalist of Black Sabbath weeks before your death. In text for The Times (via Igor Miranda site), the group’s bassist recalled the rehearsals for the band’s farewell show and solo career artist, held at Megafestival Back to The Beginning on July 5.
Initially, he stated:
“The rehearsals for that final show started a month earlier in a studio in rural Oxfordshire. Tony Iommi (guitarist), Bill Ward (drummer) And I played seven songs together. Of course, without playing together for 20 years, it took a few days to get rid of rust. Then the time has come for Ozzy to join us. I knew he wasn’t well in health, but I wasn’t prepared to see how fragile he was. ”

Then Butler added:
“He was helped to enter the rehearsal room by two helpers and a nurse and was wearing a cane-being Ozzy, the cane was black and studded with gold and precious stones. He didn’t say far beyond the usual greetings and when he sang, he sat in a chair.”
Geezer pointed out that Ozzy could not keep the pike after a specific number of rehearsed songs. The report meets what Tony Iommi said days ago said: the farewell show would have six or seven songs, but had to be reduced to four due to the health of the singer, who at the same event would still perform a solo performance. Butler said:

“The strangest part of that show was the end. Usually we all hugged each other and we would be a bow to the audience. But Ozzy was on his throne and we didn’t think about it. What we do? Tony squeezed his hand, I presented him with a cake, but it was such a strange feeling to finish our story like that. Now. As Ozzy used to say, ‘I wish in one hand, c@gue in the other and see what comes first’. ”

Finally, the musician highlighted his astonishment because we lost the singer just over two weeks after the final presentation. Still, his feeling is of satisfaction for 57 years of friendship.
“No one knew that he would leave us just over two weeks after the final show. But I’m very grateful for playing together one last time before his beloved fans. The affection of the fans and all the bands, musicians, singers and solo artists that night was amazing. Everyone came to pay tribute to the prince. I am very privileged to have spent most of my life with him.”
