Music Metal Band that canceled shows in mourning for the death of Ozzy Osbourne

Group had a strong relationship with the deceased singer last Tuesday, 22, at the age of 76-especially one of its members

The death of Ozzy Osbourne Last Tuesday, 22, it had a great impact on the music world. A metal band even canceled some of their shows – and postponing others – due to the loss.

  • Canceled: July 29 – Gilford, NH
  • POSTED: July 31 – HOLMDEL, NJ (new date: September 8)
  • Canceled: September 8 – Birmingham, AL
  • Canceled: September 10 – Virginia Beach, VA

Thus, the return to the stage will take place on August 2, Saturday, at the Xinity Center, in Mansfield. It is worth remembering that the celebration of the Pantera normally held the shows of last week, one of them on the own day and the death of Ozzy was reported. The group performed last Tuesday, 22; Wednesday, 23; Friday, 25; and Saturday, 26.

In a statement, the band states:

“Ozzy was not just a legend that shaped the base of heavy metal and inspired the panther from the beginning – he was from the family. A mentor, a brother, and a constant presence on our lives, inside and out of stage. The bond we had with him was much deeper than music.”

The text complements:

“Given this deep loss, we need time and space to regret – to be with our families, our team and each other as we process and honor the life of someone who meant so much for us. […] Thank you for your understanding at this difficult time. ”

Ozzy Osbourne’s death

The cause of the death was not disclosed. However, it is known that the singer’s health had been weakened for years due to a number of health problems-including Parkinson, whose diagnosis was revealed to the public in 2020.

In a press release sent to the press, the artist’s family stated:

“It’s more sadly than words can express that we have to report that our dear Ozzy Osbourne passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded with love.”

Then he added:

“We ask everyone to respect our family’s privacy at this time.”
