Brazilian music icon biography received criticism from a portion of the public due to the number of scenes with people without clothes
There is no further doubts about the success of Man with h. The biography of Ney Matogrossodirected by Smir Filho and starred by Jesuit Barbosahe took thousands of people to theaters and also attracted a lot of public to streaming as he debuted on Netflix some time after leaving the rooms.
Still, not everyone totally liked the work. On social networks, it was common to bump into some comments pointing out that there were many scenes of nudity in the feature film, whose indicative classification is 16 years.
Ney was aware of that. In an interview with Luiz Carlos Merten for the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo, he not only recognized the amount of nudity excerpts, but also explained the reason for such an approach.
“I had a very good return, people liked it. There were people who complained about excessive nudity, but it has to do with the time portrayed, with Ney I went at my beginning, wanting to tease, break barriers.”
Far from being a problem for Matogrosso. In fact, the singer has only a criticism of the movie – and has nothing to do with acting, script or anything.
“I was not a producer, I had no voice about it. Netflix’s funds very important for production, but they stipulated, by contract, a very short window. By me, the movie would only go to streaming after making 1 million (of spectators). I believe it would get there.”

Man with h It addresses different phases of Ney’s career since his childhood, through adolescence and adulthood.
The production accompanies a boy of humble origin in love with nature, who breaks free from oppression and figures of authority, breaks prejudice and becomes one of the most influential artists of his generation.
