“Well, as these amazing two years come to an end and I look at the future, I wanted to write something from the heart. It’s not easy to try to contextualize the roller coaster which is a tour …
But I will try …

This has been the most fun, emotional, rewarding, physically demanding and sometimes exhaustive experience. I have been doing this for over 30 years (which seems crazy to say) – and I gave everything I had to it. I could not have done this without my family, my friends, my children and all your support.

As many know, I am a very reserved person. But by reflecting on this tour and the festivals, I want to tell you a little about what has happened to me.

Among other things, I have faced some health problems and was diagnosed with Lyme’s disease – which I don’t say to feel sorry for me – but to shed some light on what I have faced behind the scenes. If you have had this disease or know someone you have had – then you understand. Living with Lyme’s disease is relentlessly debilitating, both mentally and physically.
When I received the diagnosis, it shook me deeply. But at least I could understand why I was so anxious and with a huge amount of nerve pain, or simply extreme fatigue or nausea. I was confronted with a personal decision. Stop touring? Or continue and try to understand all this.
I decided that the joy that performance brings me greatly surpasses the momentary stress that my body was feeling. And I’m very happy to have continued.

Not only did I taste my mental strength to myself, but now I have so many special moments with all of you that I will never forget. I was reluctant to talk about it because I was always created to keep my things for me. But I am trying to be more transparent about my struggles so that they are not misunderstood.

I share all this with the hope that we can find a way to be more connected. I would like to do my part to help others who face this disease as well. “

“For everyone who went to see me on the Forget Tomorrow or JT Live ’25 tour (or any other tour or show over the years, in this case) – your energy and love continue to thrill me. Your signs, messages and t -shirts have made me laugh and smile so many times. Listening and seeing you sing these songs, word by word, at the top of your lungs, you will always make me in a state of admiration.

For my team, band, singers and dancers … Life on tour is like no other. It takes a special type of person to do this-let alone do it well. You were a wonderful family away from home to me. I will always value our time together in recent years. I can’t wait to see what you will all do next. I’m sure it will be amazing!

There is really no way to put in words the feeling of being on a stage and being able to share the live music experience with all of you. It is a vibration or frequency that has no comparison. It is something sacred to me. Honestly, I don’t know what my future will be on stage, but I will always value this phase – and all the previous ones! It was a legend thing for me.

If you have arrived here in this caption, you deserve a medal. My heart is full of gratitude! Love each other. Be good with each other. They give nothing as guaranteed.

For Jess, Silas and Phin… Nothing is more powerful than your unconditional love. You are my heart and my home. I’m coming home…

With love,
JT “
