Launched this Thursday, 31, by Love in Soundthe project brings together names like Marcelo D2, Cryle, Pupillo, EMICIDA, Rael, Cut Chemist, Mexican Institute of Soundbetween others. Together they celebrate the story of the orchestra, which with the album Obaluayê (1957) and the 1968 homonymous album marked national music.
Born in 1942, in Rio de Janeiro, the result of a love story of the founder Abigail Mouracontinued active until 1970 and, in 2021, was revived by the only living member of the original formation at the time, Carlos Negreiroswhen the third and last album of the orchestra trajectory came out, entitled 80 years. Now available on digital platforms, 80 years (remixes) It will also receive a vinyl, with the pre-sale already active in Europe.
