The Sambista, who has a farewell in the Gurim format – with a special samba wheel, full of emotions, party and reverence, exactly as he wanted – will be buried at 11.
According to family members, there will be a moment limited to the nearest, but the farewell will be open to the public.
Arlindo was with bad health since 2017, when he suffered a hemorrhagic stroke (stroke). At the time, the artist was almost a year and a half hospitalized. Since then, he has faced the sequences of the disease and has undergone several hospitalizations. The artist has never introduced himself.
Death was confirmed on Friday afternoon by the artist’s wife, Babi Cruz. He was hospitalized since April at the hospital bar, in the western area of Rio. The cause of death was the multiple insufficiency of the organs.
