The sudden death of the Country Luna Alves singer, at the age of 39, shook the Brazilian music scene and generated a great confusion between fans, friends and professional colleagues. Known for his extraordinary voice, the presence of an intense phase and the affection with which he interacted with the public, Luna died at dawn on August 10, a few hours after a presentation in Cuiabá (MT).
According to her husband’s relationships, the musician Guilherme Schreiner, Luna came home around one and a half after the show, when they saw the videos together and spoke. Before going to bed, the singer recorded a video for his social networks who thank God and fans for the support and gift of music and life. “It’s nice to do a job in which people praise you … Thanks from the deep of your heart,” Luna said in the exciting recording.
Around 5:10, Luna began to experience severe chest pain. Guilherme immediately activated the mobile emergency assistance service (Samu) and followed the medical guidelines by phone in an attempt to help the singer. However, despite the speed of the medical team, Luna Alves underwent a fulminating heart attack, having been declared dead at 5:50 in the morning.
