The full group leader for James Lomenzo (low), Teemu Mäntysaari (guitar) and Dirk Verbeuren (battery) stated in a statement:

“There are so many musicians who have come to the end of their careers, whether accidental or intentionally. Most of them can’t get out of the scene, and that’s where I’m in my life now. I traveled around the world and got millions and millions of fans, and the hardest part of all this is saying goodbye to them.

We can barely wait for you to listen to this album and see us on tour. If there was a perfect time to release a new album, it is now. If there was ever a perfect time to tour the world, it is now. This is also the perfect time to say that this is our last studio album. We have made many friends over the years and hope to see you all on our global farewell tour. Don’t be angry, don’t be sad, be happy for all of us, come celebrate with me in the coming years. We did something together that is truly wonderful and probably will never happen again. We started a musical style, started a revolution, we changed the guitar world and the way it is touched, and changed the world. The bands in which I played influenced the world. I love you all for that. Thank you for everything.”
