Music Solendings: August 11-15, 2025, nominated by Rolling Stone Brasildos returned to the new names of the scene, we selected the national and international releases that are worth the Play this week for the newsroom

This week brings a musical diversity that promises to shake different audiences. Of the national scenario, we highlight: the band Minas Gerais Pade continues to explore the fusion between alternative rock and electronic breakbeats, now with a more indie and raw approach that dialogues with names like Alex G and Porches. Already Apeles leads us to a completely different record with CRUDEan album recorded in a single afternoon at the legendary White Noise studio in Los Angeles, where classic analog equipment shaped a spontaneous and visceral sound that symbolically closes an artistic trilogy started with River of timefollowed by Crux and These.

In the international panorama, the week is especially rich, with new albums of names like Cass mccombs, Chance The Rapper, Kayranada and Maroon 5each representing distinct strands of contemporary music. Chance The Rapper Returns with Star Lineyour first complete project since 2019, while Kayranada it presents Ain’t in Damn Way!Cass mccombs comes up with Interior live oakconsolidating its reputation as one of the most consistent composers of today. To top it off, Radiohead Surprise with Hail to the Thief Live Recordings 2003-2009a collection of 12 tracks that captures live performances recorded between 2003 and 2009, an unexpected gift for fans who already know each note of the band’s studio albums.
