MusicCpm 22 announces a 30 -year special tour for the 2025 sequence

THE CPM 22 Celebrates three decades of trajectory with a commemorative tour. Formed exactly on August 22, 1995, the group is one of the most popular of Brazilian hardcore and national rock as a whole.

The excursion will pass through several cities of the country throughout the year. Through an open letter published on social networks, the band celebrated the achievement and projected the future. A complementary text presents reflections of Fernando Badauívocalist and only remaining original member.

“August 22, 1995. It’s hard to believe that it has been 30 years since we gave the first chords together. What started as a dream has become a story that goes far beyond music.

There are three decades of road, stages, records, travel, and, above all, three decades of you by our side. You who accompany us from the beginning or who have arrived now, but carry the same energy that ever moves us.

Our 30 years are not only ours, they are from each fan who jumped on the wheel, arrived early at the show to be on the grid, dressed the band shirt, held a poster, waited at the door of the hotel, traveled from one city to another to see us, tattooed the love for our sound, made our music the soundtrack of some important moment of life. You have transformed our story into something much bigger than we could imagine. We also want to thank our team that dedicates time, talent and love so that each show, every release and each trip will become possible.

We look back proudly, live the gift with gratitude and face the future with the same desire to take the stage and play as if it were the first time.

Today, August 22, 2025, we opened a new chapter of our history. A new journey begins, with revamped communication and a special show that now becomes our official 30 -year -old tour.

Thank you for 30 years of complicity, intensity and truth. This road is ours and always will be. ”

“In the West Zone of São Paulo, 4 kids with their dreams come together to do the first rehearsal, rough, noisy, but very true, between smoke and fun on a free afternoon of the unemployed, some day of 1995. The great opportunity to discharge feelings, frustrations, joys and revolts, through strong and fast songs !! Signs were evident. The year of 96 arrived, and with it the challenge, the first record, immature, but important, the step forward, we walked 2 more houses in the game of life. Mundo Novo opens, many bands, new friends, different tune, the same alternative school !! The dream begins to gain body !! After many pages of the calendar, the time of the truth, already in 1999, to some km from nowhere, the chance increases, the people change the road in search of the unknown, signs appear, the distance between references and the world becomes palpable, down and palpable the world. By Law, Lag Wagon, Fun at All and several Brazilian bands, we were, CPM22 !!

A connection in the midst of vacation, the world shakes and everything changes overnight, anxiety squeezes, with uncertainties but with renewed hopes, an important step beyond and the curtains of a room upstairs, on a January afternoon, combined in the studio, folds, bold decisions, compositions a thousand, collection and seriousness !! Regina echoed, and one October afternoon, the world turned around, Brazil opens us the doors !!

Among hundreds of thousands of kilometers driven, many shows, endless appointments, at the end of the year number 1 of the new millennium, it’s time to start over !! I suspected that we would get there, the doubts were a few days ago, but the plans are allied with dreams and it took courage to face yesterday’s fears and not fall into new lies !!

Really the reality was different, among endless tours, awards and recognition, the interpretations from where we arrived and where we could go after that, coexistence changes the spirits, patience and convictions. After much conversation and attempts, there is 2004 and with it the requirement of some changes, in training, in sound. Amid discussions and madness of the time, we seek instant happiness and the consolidation of this band. They were cloudy times and charged with feelings and contestations at the height of our explosive youth. Overcoming my expectations, we fly even louder, everything became irreversible and the certainty of the bets was only possible with much repetition as if the world would end in the next minute.

And then 2006 arrived, what a moment !! I can’t even say if it was the height, I don’t like that word, I don’t like comparisons, the feeling of victory was inevitable, we needed to record this moment, free our demons, something beyond us, a live album would be ideal, the watershed, and it was !!!

From there we will enter a slightly gray, storm, the unexpected, troubled moment, knew it would happen at some point, always happens, and then I decided to write. Things did not go well internally, personally less, troubled relationships, exaggerations, sleepless nights, but we still had the strength to write, I did not recognize myself in the mirror, as in the movie ‘After Hours’, everything was strange, but we had the time and 1000 reasons to keep fighting, album made with gray city. After the storm comes glory, important recognition as a work in the most important award in Latin America. But the problems were great, drastic changes, uncertainties, carpet pulled, confusion and injustices, it is never easy to fight the powerful, but I will tell you, the choices we make can change or destroy the currents that bind us in this place. This current will never be broken. The storm passes a time or another and that is right !!!

Until after a long and exhausting winter, the sun decided to appear, it was a different, joyful, still half -lost start, leaving the sufferer’s hospital, wanting to live, like the energy of a good ska. In this war was a matter of life or death, telling our story, like a movie I have never seen, Challenge Challenge, Happy and Sarcastic Anger like Jamaican music. We broke barriers and won once more, and you know what it’s like to live here in Brazil.

The renewal of energies and trust, self -love, the valorization of the trajectory, the respect and the desire to make it happen, it was time for truth, where there is nowhere to run, it was time to slow down and reduce distortion, the time has come for an organic and acoustic recording !! The year 2013 was very crazy, burning asphalt, an important phase in our lives !! Even with the country exploding !! So until next year !!

A few months later we came back to reality, the speed was back !! Always a million, close to turning 20, until we arrived in 2015, one of the most important years of this story, crowned with an unforgettable show, on the largest stage in the world, with race, brightness in the look, power, sweat and catharsis in a surreal exchange of energy with all present, and to remember the unsuspecting of the meaning of all this and the best, everything is forever! I couldn’t imagine what would be to come after that night !!!

We are tireless, we never stop !! We continued running the country incessantly, 20 years passed, we have already baptized more than 1,500 shows on endless tours for Brazil and outside it !! The year 2017 arrived, always with great faith, persistence, sweat and sacrifice !!! It was the fuel we needed to honor the name. I decided to pay to see, you have to open your eyes before making the same mistakes, that would never be the same, when it was face to face !!! THANK YOU TREVER !!! You cannot carry the cross of not trying, tell me that it can be simpler !!!

Following firm and resilient, resistant to adversity, we have already faced everything, collecting stories, many good and some bad, life is like this, we never know what will happen in the next minute, at the end of the last album tour, the unbelievable happened, 2020 came and with it the pandemic that forced us to stay at home for almost 2 years, worldwide collapse and uncertainties, Brazilian virus and uncertainty To the East, the mornings lasted twice the time.

What the fuck was that ?? What a trip !! At these times you think, how good it is to be alive, after that I learned to fuck the things that bother me, even if they bother me to this day, I want to live, mark our name in the story and know that everything is worth it when your soul is not small !!

The story does not go over with time, in fact it fills the time, the now, this is the best moment, better than the best moments, the inexplicable synergy, the reward of effort, overflowing with emotion, a calculated challenge where circumstances forged us, or give up or face, no one owns the truth, 1 million feelings locked in a good, it will never know when it will be Suddenly it was not just a punk holiday, 30 years passed and we still have the blood in the eye !! This is our way of thanks. Never has been and never will be easy, as well as putting these same 30 years of history in words !! We would not have succeeded if it wasn’t for the fan of fans, friends and collaborators, as well as everyone who somehow collaborated with this trajectory !! Continues… ”
