Iconic group of the 1980s made a joke involving his biggest hit, ‘I Want to Know What Love Is’ (‘I want to know what love’)
Who doesn’t want an invitation to the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce? At least one band is taking the initiative to secure an invitation, offering to work that night.
This is Foreignerwho published an open letter to the newly new couple asking to be their wedding band. Through Instagram, the group states:
“Dear Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. We know what love is. We spent 40 years discovering [nota: referência ao maior hit do Foreigner, ‘I Want to Know What Love Is’, ou ‘Eu Quero Saber o Que é Amor’]. And now you too. Please accept this as our formal offer to be your wedding band. ”

It is unclear if Swift and Kelce are already great fans of Foreigner, but it seems likely that the pop star love some of the band’s many romantic and memorable hits. However, at least one fan had the vision, years ago, to mix music “Treacherous”from Taylor, with “Waiting for a girl like you”from the band, in a curious mashup.
Last year, Foreigner was introduced at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Sammy Hagar. The singer then joined a cast of stars to honor the band’s legacy on stage, including Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson and Slash on the guitar.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement was announced last week. Kelce had placed the request a few weeks earlier, shortly after recording his participation in the Podcast New Heights with his brother, Jason Kelce, where he announced his new album, The Life of A Showgirl. In addition to an Instagram joint ad with Kelce, Swift didn’t talk much more about engagement or searching for the ideal alliance.
