British artist performs at Cine Joia, in São Paulo, on November 12, the busiest month of shows of the year
Nilüfer Yanyaone of the most distinct voices of the British alternative scene, performs for the first time in Brazil on November 12, at Cine Joia, in São Paulo. The show marks the artist’s debut in the country and is held by 30E through the project INDIGOits curatorial label focused on indie sounds.
The 29-year-old has gained international recognition with her unique mixture of Indie Rock, R&B and Lo-Fi, combined with a striking severe voice and brutal honesty lyrics. THE Vogue American described his work as “a quality that sounds slightly out of time, but also, in some way, firmly current”, a definition that captures precisely nostalgic and contemporary sound that made it a reference in independent music.
The year 2025 has been especially significant for Nilüfer Yanya. The artist performed for the third time at the festival Glastonburyin the United Kingdom, and released the EP Dancing Shoeswhich includes the track “Kneel”with almost 2 million reproductions in the Spotify. Work is the natural continuation of the acclaimed album My Method Actor (2024), which brought success “Like I Say (I Runaway)listed among the best songs of the year by the magazine NME.
The recognition of expert critics accompanies the entire career of the artist. Your three studio albums – Painless (2022), Miss Universe (2019) and My Method Actor (2024) – received the prestigious seal Best New Music from the Pitchforka rare validation to achieve with such consistency. The presentation in Brazil takes place in the midst of an intense international agenda of the singer, which includes tours as an opening artist for Alex G in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, as well as participation in Ultrasound World Tour of Lord through North America and Europe.

Among the presentations is another curated event INDIGOthat brings together the shows of Weezer, Block party and Otoboke Beaver among others, besides the explosive show of Massive Attack next to brothers Cavalera.
