The performance, however, divided opinions. In a text published on the website igormiranda.com.br, journalist Thiago Zuma evaluated:
“Dressed in a sexy white apron, the artist sang-or dubbed?-More worried about staying synchronized by the whirlwind of vocals and other pre-recorded instruments performed on the sound system. […] The songs captivated, alternating pop (‘Crystalized’) with an alternative influence metal (‘Lessen The Damage’) and industrial (‘SIT/STAY’), or all mixed (‘X’). Nevertheless, there was little interaction from the American and brief nods to the public. ”
Linkin Park in Brazil
Linkin Park, now with Emily Armstrong in vocal and Colin Brittain on the drums, he also held two performances in São Paulo, in November last year, at the exact weekend when his new album, Flutterwas released. At the time, the new formation had performed few shows – a different situation from the current one, as a long tour promoting the album took shape over 2025.
In relation to one of the performances in the state capital, journalist Felipe Fiuza, from Rolling Stone Brazilpublished:
“If there was still someone who doubted that Linkin Park still had gas, and that a new singer would be a shot in the foot, missed. And made ugly. The group is still more alive than ever and this presentation washed the soul of everyone who was thirsty for seeing a band that should never have stopped. In addition to being a slap in the face of macho and purists around the globe.”
Tickets for the three dates in Brazil follow for sale through the site Ticketmaster.
