I start in the country and the passion for music
Born in Goiânia, Breno Ferreira has grown surrounded by music: “At the age of two, my father gave me a guitar. He was bigger than me, I couldn’t even resist. I went to my uncle’s shows as a child. I saw that energy, the audience, that wonderful heat and I thought: that’s what I want for my life.”he said.
Also remember the family incentive: “I arrived in my uncle and said,” I want to be a singer, I don’t want to study. “He said,” Is he crazy? He will study, for the love of God. Don’t joke with singing no. “I insisted,” I want to sing. “So he said,” you cannot abandon your studies, you have to study, but also improve the gift of singing. “Then I started attending the singing lesson, the guitar class and at 10 I was already scratching some notes.”
The transition from the couple to the solo career
Breno began his career in pairs at 15: “When I turned 15, I met a friend named Leo, who had a study at home. He proposed to me:” Breno, are we going to a couple? “At the time I raped. He had the entire structure, but lived in Anicun, 100 km from Goiânia. So I studied in the morning, I spent the afternoon try and I went home at dawn. Months in this routine until we play our debut show.”
Even with the initial success, the duo has not continued: “We did some shows in the area, but it didn’t work. He followed his way and I mine.”
The turn took place in 2019, with the launch of YESAnd later, Black success launches in 2021, which became viral and opened the doors for great opportunities.
Successful partnership and the project was Wave
Among the highlights of the career, Breno cites the old fashion, partnership with Alexandre Pires and Léo Foguette:
“I have a project called The Wave, which mixes the rhythms. I rewritten Gilberto Gil, Skank, Jorge & Mateus, Guilherme Santiago, a welcome guilherme … and I said to my uncle:” Let’s try to bring Alexandre Pires. “
He also underlines the importance of his uncle in his career: “My uncle is my inspiration, as if it were my father. The love of my life. He taught me to respect the profession, life. I am very grateful. It is nothing more, nothing less than the colonel. Our icon, our myth.”
And on new features: “Yes, Latin is a big friend. I am too fans of him. A good boy, wonderful. I invited the next wave, which I want to run to Brazil mixing cultures.
Well -made moment in the BackcoD
Participation in the Banco di Barretos festival was unforgettable: “God blessed me a lot. I am in the best moment of my life, personal and professional. I never imagined to launch the wave in Barretos. The show was fantastic, the lively crowd, my uncle participated in me. Later, he still called me on the main stage, together with Bruno & Marrone, Henrique and Diego and Enza Rabelo.
For the future, Breno bets on the wave and dreams of big names: “Difficult to choose, there are many fantastic artists. But one who I think will correspond to the wave is Gusttavo Lima. Who knows? Hello Baby, let’s make one with me!”
