The BBC documentary will air on October 2, after its release in August was postponed at the request of the late musician’s family
The BBC released the trailer for Coming Homea documentary about Ozzy Osbourne which is scheduled to debut on October 2. The clip shows Osbourne and his wife, Sharon Osbourne“As they plan their dream of returning to live in the UK.”
The trailer starts with the couple traveling in the back seat of a car. “I’m looking forward to an English summer”observes Osbourne In an interview. When they arrived at their mansion in Buckinghamshire, Sharon explains that the couple “Always referred to this place as home”. “It’s magnificent, Sharon“responds Osbourne. Sharon Ask the musician if he wishes “A quiet life” In his old age, and he replies: “No … yes, but no”. Their daughter, Kelly Osbourneadds: “I think it is not possible for either to retire, never”.
Coming Home was initially scheduled to air on August 18, but was removed from the TV programming at the last minute due “To the family’s wishes to wait a little more”. The one -hour documentary, directed by Paula Wittig (), has been filmed over three years. It was originally announced as a series, Home to Roostin 2022, but the project evolved as the health of Osbourne continued to deteriorate. The legend of metal has spent the last years of his life fighting Parkinson’s disease, as well as against injuries he suffered in a fall in 2019.
BBC described the program as a “Notably sincerely sincere and inspiring tribute” one of the “True icons” from the world. He presents “Unique and Intimate Access” to the whole family Osbourne and also contains images of Osbourne Getting ready for your farewell show, which took place in early July, a few weeks before your death.
Recently, the Paramount+ launched the official trailer of his own documentary about Osbourne, On the escape from nowwhich also covers the last three years of the musician’s life. This release arrives on October 7th. Coming Home will debut in BBC One and at Iplayer on October 2, at 9 pm (British summer time), which corresponds to 17h in Brasília time.
