The British magazine “DJ Mag” every year, the 100 best DJs in the world which, in 2025, brought four Brazilian representatives

The Brazilian electronic music scene celebrates an important milestone in 2025, with four of its artists in the renowned ranking of the 100 best DJs in the world, published by the British magazine DJ Mag. The DJs Alok, Vintage culture, Mochakk AND Liu It appears in the ranking that acts as a thermometer for the global industry.

Alok, one of the most recognized names in the country, even outside the electronic circuit, has reached a historic company. Goian won the third position in the standings, his best place since he joined the list in 2015. With over 22 million monthly listeners, he positions himself on the global podium, behind only French David Guetta and the Dutch Martin Garrix.

In the eleventh position there is Lukas Rafael Ruiz Hespanhol, better known as Vintage Culture, which appeared for the first time on the list in 2016. Born in Mato Grosso do Sul, he consolidated as a reference to the world, famous for its long performances, which can extend up to 10 hours. Its presence is constant in iconic festivals such as Tomorrowland and Burning Man.

Representing the new generation of talents, Pedro Luis Nunes Maia, on 26 -year -old Mochakk shows a considerable increase. For the second consecutive time on the list, it has climbed five positions compared to 2024, guaranteeing 56th place. Known for his friendships in the artistic world, as with the singer Dua Lipa, and his sets focused on the house, Mochakk has already left his mark in prestigious events, including the Coachella Festival.

Closing the Brazilian quartet, Paulista Liu appears in the 71st position. About Liu’s musical style, DJ Mag says it is “contagiously fun”. He appeared for the first time on the list in 2023 and since then he has taken on a trajectory upwards, debuting in 98th position, then jumping to the 79th and now reaching the 71st. In 2025, Liu demonstrated his strength by promoting his festival all over the world, held in August in San Paolo.
