During a participation in Siriusxm Hits 1, Taylor Swift talked about the album ‘The Life of A Showgirl’ and the inspiration in Travis Kelce
In your participation in the program at Siriusxm hits 1, Taylor Swift opened on playing the most explicit songs of The Life of a Showgirl to your mother. By her response, the singer must have selected the “clean” version of “Wood”.
“I think she thinks this song is about superstitions, popular superstitions, what she absolutely is,” said Swift. “This is the joy of the double meaning. You can read the music to people and the meaning simply goes unnoticed by them. You see in this song what you want to see.”
