The award ceremony took place on Sunday (12) at the classic Cine Odeon, in Cinelândia, in the center of Rio de Janeiro

The 27th edition of Rio Festivalone of the most important film festivals in Brazil and Latin America, came to an end last Sunday (12) awarding Little Creaturesnew feature film Anne Pinheiro Guimarães (Transe), with the Redeemer Trophy for Best Fiction Feature Film at Première Brasil, the main honor of the night.

Furthermore, the film starring Carolina Dieckmann (Anything goes) — which tells the story of an abandoned woman with her children in a Brazil that has just emerged from the Military Dictatorship — also won the award for Best Art Direction, for Claudia Andrade.

Another highlight of Rio Festival 2025 he was Night Actnew feature film Marcio Reolon and Filipe Matzembacherresponsible for Raw Paintbig winner of the festival in 2018. The novelty, which presents the dangerous relationship between a politician and a young actor, won four awards: Redeemers for Best Actor (for Gabriel Faryas), Best Screenplay (for Reolon and Matzembacher) and Best Cinematography (for Luciana Baseggio), in addition to the Félix Award, dedicated to LGBQTIAPN+ productions, for Best Film.
