Among the promotions for “The Life of a Showgirl”, the artist will launch documentary series and films
In the middle of your album The life of a showgirl, Taylor Swift will release a new documentary and film about the The Turn of the Agesa tour that brought together his albums and marked his visit to Brazil in 2023, entitled The end of an era.
The content will be a six-episode documentary series. The news comes alongside the film which will show the full tour show and an additional series of Department of Tortured Poets, with backstage scenes, whose name is The final show. Both will release on Disney+ on December 12th.
The announcement came via a post on Instagram in which the singer announced “the end of an era”: “We wanted to remember every moment that led up to the most important and intense moment of our lives, so we allowed the cameras to record the tour and all the stories woven together as it unfolded.”

On September 3, the singer released her twelfth studio album, The life of a showgirl. In less than 11 hours, the content became the most listened to album in a single day Spotify in 2025.
The day before, Thursday 2, The life of a showgirl it was already the most pre-saved countdown page in the app’s history, with over 6 million views pre-saves before launch.
