The band will perform a one-of-a-kind show in 2026, marked by major career successes
Megadeth is a confirmed attraction in Brazil in 2026. The band will present its farewell tour in Sao Paulo, at Espaço Unimed, in a unique show scheduled for May 2.
The farewell show will feature Dave Mustaine along with Teemu Mäntysaari (guitar), James LoMenzo (bass) and Dirk Verbeuren (drums).
The repertoire promises classics that have marked generations, such as Symphony of Destruction, Hangar 18, Peace sells AND Holy wars… The punishment duein addition to the songs from the most recent album, The sick, the dying… and the dead!.
Formed in 1983, Megadeth is considered one of the “Big Four” of thrash metal, along with Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax. In more than four decades, the band has sold more than 50 million albums and won a Grammy, consolidating itself as a heavy metal reference with technical riffs, speed and lyrics that speak of politics, war and society.
When the sales start
Exclusive pre-sales for members of the band’s fan club begin on November 3, at 10 am, on the Eventim website.
The general public will be able to secure tickets from November 5th, simultaneously, online or at the Espaço das Américas box office, with the possibility of paying up to four interest-free installments.
