British royalty tragically died in a car accident in ParisFrance, same day August 31, 1997. Had 36 years old.

Elton John shared a photo of himself and his friend on Instagram Diana in the backstage of one of their shows in 1993 with the caption: “We will always miss you”wrote the artist 75 years old.

In September 13, 1997as part of the single release Something about your looks tonight, Elton John has released a new version for the classic Candle in the wind 1973 to honor her friend. The song was the second best-selling song in the history of the music industry, with 33 million copies marketed all over the world.

Elton John sang the version at the funeral of Princess Diana.

the stylist Donatella Versace also paid tribute to social media royalty: “Diana, Princess of Wales, you were an inspiration to Gianni, an inspiration to me and you are still an inspiration to many today. Today it’s been 25 years since we lost you, you will never be forgotten.”

Diana And Gianni – this legendary designer and brother of Donatella – were close friends of Elton John.

Gianni Versace was shot and killed You love me (USA) in July 1997.
